Hisense 50th Global Anniversary
Hisense Group was founded in 1969. At present, Hisense Group owns two listed companies—Hisense Electric (600060) and Hisense Kelon Electrical (000921), listed in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. And it also owns many brands including Hisense, Toshiba, Gorenje, Kelon and Ronshen. In 2018, the sales revenue of Hisense reached CNY 126.635 billion and the total profits was CNY 15.599 billion. The overseas income was CNY 37.838 billion with an increase of 29.9%.
In the past 50 years, Hisense has always adhered to the core values of “Honesty, Integrity, Practicality and Positivity” and the development strategy of “Sound Technological Foundation and Robust Operation”. The business covers areas including multimedia, home appliances, intelligent information and service industries. Over the years, Hisense has ranked No.1 in TV industries in China, and also No.1 in the new industries such like intelligent transportation and optical communication.
With the products exported to over 130 countries and regions, Hisense has also sponsored the world’s top sporting events such as UEFA EURO 2016, 2018 FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO 2020. In the “China National Image Global Survey” released by China International Publishing Group, Hisense was one of the “Top Ten most familiar Chinese brands to overseas citizens” for four consecutive years. With more than 80,000 employees world-wide, Hisense Group has 14 industrial parks and production bases, which are located in Qingdao, Shunde, Jiangmen, Yangzhou, Guiyang, Huzhou, Czech Republic, South Africa, Mexico and so on. There are also 12 R&D centers located in Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, USA, Europe, Israel, Japan, etc.
