SYDNEY, 27 October 2016 — Hisense Australia announced its new consumer marketing campaign “Excite Your Senses” at an exclusive media event held at Ovolo in Woolloomooloo on Thursday night. Excite Your Senses as a campaign is inspired by our products, but even more so by Australian customers. As the Hisense brand is rapidly maturing Australia have recognised the need to increase its storytelling efforts to better engage on every level. Every story Hisense Australia creates will showcase how Hisense products help excite senses at home every day and in extra-ordinary ways. We are going to tell stories, share tips and inspire more great flavours, smells, textures, images and feelings which will be available through our recently launched blog, social channels, national advertising campaign and newsletter. The new campaign is about amplifying the flavours, tastes, textures and smells that surround our products when they get home. The event also announced the new release of the most premium refrigerator for Hisense in Australia, the new 701L French door model.

VIP guests at the event included Australia’s #1 breakfast news anchor, Karl Stefanovic as MC and many high-profile Sydney Kings basketball players. The event was broadcast live on Facebook receiving over 17 thousand views, over 1000 reactions and a total reach of over 40 thousand for the video alone. The event was live tweeted, leveraged Instagram and launched a custom Hisense Snapchat filter geo-targetted for maximum local exposure.

To amplify the campaign message across both major Australian product categories, TV & Refrigeration, the event hosted food geniuses from Messina gelato, molecular frozen gastronomy, which used Hisense premium refrigerator products into their dessert creation. For TV Hisense cooperated with locally renown 4K digital video artist, Jake Stollery releasing his 4K “Renaissance” installation original artwork on five stunning Hisense 70 inch 4K ULED screens – “morphing art and science to speak to transformation, renewal and progress,” said Mr. Stollery.

Hisense is proving itself to be a major brand to watch in both major Electronics and Home Appliance categories in Australia: its new premium range of 4K ULED TVs has already scored rave reviews from CHOICE, Australian PC World, news.com.au, Good Gear Guide and Sydney Morning Herald in recent months. The new Hisense 701L French Door refrigerator premiered at the event is being hailed as its “smartest and biggest”.

Premium sports sponsorships with Formula One Red Bull Racing team, the Australian Open, National Basketball League (NBL) and Melbourne’s Hisense Arena is part of the brand’s speedy rise to the top of the electronics and home appliance categories in Australia.
